THE PROBLEMS

Nobody likes the smell of polluted air. But unfortunately, our environment was polluted seriously, and it seems to be way more serious in the future. There are a lot of factors that cause the pollution of our environment. First, let’s talk about the sources of pollution that closest to our living environment, which are smoking and vehicle exhaust. Smoking will release toxic air pollutant into the atmosphere, and it will cause harm to human’s health. Besides, vehicle will release carbon monoxide when the fuel is burned.

Besides that, the cases of burning garbage happened frequently in our environment. The toxic black smoke that comes form the burning is dangerous to our body and our environment. This garbage will also cause water pollution and soil pollution because it is non-biodegradable. Right because it can't be degraded by nature, that's why people burn garbage.


SOLUTIONS

PLANTS


The first solution is we should grow more plant in our environment. This is because plants can help us to purify our polluted air. For example, plants can remove benzene, formaldehyde, carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides from the polluted air effectively. We only need a minute to cut down a tree, but we need a decade to grow a tree. For development in our city, many trees were cut by developer. I hope we can reduce logging and grow more plants for our environment to alleviate the problem of pollution.


LIFESTYLE



The second solution is changing our lifestyle. This is because we are the main cause of the pollution. We can try to use the traditional soap for our shower because traditional saop are made from natural ingredients and it is biodegradable. Thus, we should stop smoking because this will bring a lot of damage to our environment and our health. Government should ban smoking or add some laws to stop it and give punishment to the law breakers. Lastly, we should stop using plastic bag in the future. We should stop the production of plastic bags and start to use paper bags in the future. In this way, wo don’t need the method of burning garbage to remove the non-biodegradable plastic bags in the future.


ELECTRIC CAR



The third solution is we can try to change our transportation option to electric car. Electric car doesn’t burn fuel to get the power. So, it will reduce the pollution in air. Government can give more welfares to electric car user to encourage people to buy electric car. For example, government can reduce the price of electric car and offer them free road tax for 5 years. Besides, we can put more effort to develop our own Malaysia electric car to control the price and increase the income of our country. Many people don’t want to buy an electric car is because they think the charging station is scarce in number. But the truth is the number of charging center is good enough in 2023, and the number of charging stations will keep increase in the future. So, the problem we need to solve is the charging speed of the electric car. We should increase the fast-charging speed to encourage people to accept electric car in the future.


FUTURE VIEW

There will be full of green after 30 years in the future. Plastic bag will be eliminated in the future and burning garbage will be illegal in the future. Besides that, traditional fuel-powered vehicle will also disappear in the future and replace by electric-powered vehicle. Charging station will appear in every parking slot and everyone's house. The charging station will be wireless in the future. Lastly, the air in the future will be as fresh as the age of Jurassic age (geological era 205-140m years ago).


REFLECTION

The reason I want to stop the pollution in our environment is because if we don't do anything, the Earth will be destroyed. This idea was inspired by a stranger I met in my school who was smoking cigarette. I almost died & got lung cancer when I smelled secondhand smoke. So, I'm determined to solve the pollution issue in the future to save the world.
